Embracing Emotional Literacy: Understanding Our Emotional Spectrum

In our journey towards holistic well-being, understanding our emotions plays a vital role. Emotions are intricate and multifaceted, encompassing a wide spectrum from lower to higher vibrations. Recognizing and naming these emotions can profoundly impact our mental, emotional, and physical health. This practice, known as emotional literacy, is about becoming more attuned to our inner experiences and gaining the ability to articulate them.

Emotional literacy empowers us to navigate life's ups and downs with greater clarity and resilience. By identifying and naming our emotions, we can connect more deeply with ourselves and others. It helps us to acknowledge our feelings without judgment and to understand the underlying causes behind them. This awareness fosters better emotional regulation, reduces stress, and enhances our overall well-being.

Additionally, bridging the gap between our somatic (physical) sensations and our emotional states is crucial. Often, our bodies give us clues about how we are feeling before our minds do. By regularly practicing this ritual, you will strengthen your connection between your heart and power centers, while also supporting your spine and aligning with your intention to love and honor yourself.

Grounding & Centering Meditation

“I am grounded in my power and aligned with love.”

  • Begin by sitting or lying down in a comfortable position. Close your eyes and take three deep, slow breaths. Imagine roots growing from your body into the earth, grounding you.

  • As you breathe, visualize a golden light in your solar plexus, your power center. Allow this light to expand and fill your entire torso. Feel its warmth, confidence, and strength supporting your spine.

Heart & Solar Plexus Activation

“I give myself space to love and honor who I am, as I share love with others.”

  • Place one hand over your heart and the other over your solar plexus. Breathe deeply into both centers, feeling the energy of the heart connect to the solar plexus.

  • As you breathe, visualize a soft pink light from your heart merging with the golden light of your solar plexus. Allow these energies to harmonize, spreading warmth and love throughout your body.

Aligning the Spine

“I align my body, mind, and spirit with my highest self. My spine supports me with strength and flexibility.”

  • Stand or sit tall, focusing on your posture. Imagine a string pulling you upward from the crown of your head. Gently roll your shoulders back, opening your chest.

  • Visualize a straight line of light running from the top of your head down your spine, connecting to the earth. Feel the light gently aligning each vertebra.

Self-Love Ritual

“I honor my needs. I give myself permission to take up space and nurture my desires.”

  • Light a candle or incense to symbolize self-love and create a calm atmosphere. Take a few moments to repeat this mantra while holding your hands over your heart.

  • Allow yourself to journal after this, asking yourself, “Where in my life can I offer myself the same love and care I give to others?”

This process is designed to help you integrate the diamond light into your being, supporting your connection to your divine essence. By blending the principles of Mindfulness, Mindset, and Movement, this ritual guides you to gently release resistance and embrace your true nature as a divine being of light.

Grounding with Mindfulness

  • Practice: Start by finding a quiet, comfortable space where you won’t be disturbed. Sit or lie down, close your eyes, and take three deep, cleansing breaths. As you breathe, visualize roots growing from the base of your spine or feet, connecting you deeply to the Earth. Feel the grounding energy of the Earth stabilizing and supporting you.

    ✍️ Journal Prompt: “Where in my life do I feel ungrounded or disconnected? How can I cultivate a deeper sense of safety and stability?”

Setting the Mindset

  • Practice: Affirm your intention to embrace the diamond light. Speak aloud or silently repeat: “I am a divine being of light. I am open to receiving and integrating this higher frequency into my body and soul.”

    ✍️ Journal Prompt: “What limiting beliefs do I hold that make it difficult for me to fully accept that I am a divine being of light? Where do these beliefs come from?”

Movement to Release Resistance

  • Practice: Engage in gentle movement like yoga, stretching, or a slow walk. As you move, focus on releasing any tension or resistance in your body. Visualize the diamond light flowing through you, dissolving any blockages.

    ✍️ Journal Prompt: “As I move, where do I feel resistance or tightness in my body? What emotions or thoughts are connected to these sensations?”

Mindful Meditation

  • Practice: Sit in stillness and visualize the diamond light entering your body through the crown of your head, filling every cell with divine light. As you meditate, focus on the sensation of this light upgrading your DNA and expanding your consciousness. Stay here for at least 10 minutes, letting the light permeate every part of your being.

Closing with Gratitude

Be Your Truth

Let's begin by connecting with the essence of “I am an authentic woman of truth.” Find a comfortable space and start journaling. Let your pen flow freely as you explore these prompts:

  • “What does authenticity feel like in my body?”

  • “How does my truth express itself in my daily life?”

  • “Where might I be pushing rather than flowing?”

  • “How can I invite more of my feminine energy into my life?”

✍️ Allow yourself to write from your heart, without overthinking. Embrace the flow of your thoughts and sensations. Spend 15-20 minutes letting your reflections emerge naturally.

Sense Your Energies

In your journal, sketch out how your masculine energy shows up—think about how you push through tasks and strive for goals. Then, shift your focus to what nurturing your feminine energy might look like—receptivity, intuition, and flow.

As you write, let your senses guide you:

  • “Where do I feel tension or rigidity?”

  • “How does my body react to the idea of softness and intuition?”

Reflect on one area where you can gently invite more feminine energy into your life.

Body Scan

Find a quiet space and close your eyes. Begin by bringing your awareness to different parts of your body—head, shoulders, heart, belly. Notice any areas that feel tight or relaxed.

As you breathe deeply, imagine your breath flowing through these areas, softening any tension. Feel into your heart and throat chakras, and as you breathe, affirm: “I am an authentic woman of truth.”

Take your time and stay with each sensation until you fell a sense of completion, let your body guide you in this exploration.

Connect To Your Flow

Play your favorite song and let yourself dance intuitively. Allow your body to move in response to the music without any structure. Focus on:

  • Feeling your heart and belly guiding your movements.

  • Letting go of any rigidity and embracing the flow.

  • Visualizing yourself embodying both your strength and softness as you dance.

Move with ease and fluidity, letting your dance be an expression of your feminine energy and inner truth.

Last Reflection

After dancing, sit in a space of stillness for a few moments. Then, return to your journal for final reflections.

  • “How did it feel to move with freedom and flow?”

  • “What emotions or insights arose during the dance?”

🐉 Power Dragon Ritual 🐉

This following process will support your integration in connecting more deeply with your inner power and build a stronger relationship with Lucy, your golden dragon, as a guide and protector.

Set Your Sacred Space

“I create a sacred space for my power to awaken and guide me.”

Find a quiet space where you won’t be disturbed. You might want to light a candle, burn incense, or place crystals around you (especially ones connected to strength and protection like citrine, tiger’s eye, or black tourmaline). Visualize this space as your personal power temple.

Grounding & Root Connection

“I am grounded, secure, and deeply connected to my foundation.”

Sit comfortably with your feet or legs connected to the floor. Take several deep breaths, inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly. Focus on your **root chakra** at the base of your spine, feeling its connection to the earth. Visualize red energy radiating from this chakra, anchoring you to the earth.

Solar Plexus Activation

“I activate my inner power, and it radiates through every part of my being.”

Now, move your attention up to your solar plexus—your power center. Visualize a bright golden light glowing from within this chakra. See it becoming more radiant with every breath, expanding outwards and filling your entire body with strength and confidence.

 Invoke Your Golden Dragon

“I welcome you Lucy, my guide and protector, into this space. Together, we rise in strength and power.”

With your solar plexus fully activated, call upon Lucy. Visualize her hatching from within your solar plexus as a powerful golden dragon, gracefully circling around you. Feel her protective energy as she wraps herself around your body, and sense the connection between you.

Create the Infinity Connection

“I am whole. My truth, power, and foundation are in harmony, creating infinite strength within me.”

Now, visualize Lucy flowing between your throat, solar plexus, and root chakras creating a golden infinity sign. Imagine this golden light traveling along the infinity loop, uniting your ability to express your truth, embody your power, and feel grounded in your purpose.

Dragon’s Message

 “I trust the guidance and protection of my golden dragon, Lucy. I am brave, courageous, and infinitely powerful.”

In this moment, ask Lucy if she has a message for you. Be open to any words, images, or sensations that come. Sit quietly and listen, knowing that whatever comes is deeply aligned with your highest power.

Closing the Ritual

“I honor the power within me and the sacred connection with my golden dragon. I am whole, protected, and aligned.”

When you feel ready, bring your attention back to your breath. Visualize Lucy softly retreating back into your solar plexus, always available when needed, while her energy continues to protect and guide you. Gently close the ritual by placing your hands on your heart and thanking yourself for this powerful connection.

Centering Yourself

  • Close your eyes and place your hand over your heart. Reflect on what is most important to you in your life beyond work—what brings you joy, peace, and fulfillment. This could be family, nature, creativity, or any passion that resonates deeply with you.

  • Allow yourself to feel this connection in your heart, expanding with each breath.

Visualize Your Dream Life

  • Imagine your ideal life in vivid detail. Picture where you want to be, what you want to feel, and the experiences that bring you joy.

  • Envision the lifestyle you desire—your surroundings, the people you want to connect with, and how you spend your time.

  • As you visualize, think about how your work as a holistic coach can fit into this dream life. Consider the support you want to offer individuals and companies in finance.

Lynn, this is an invitation to go deeper into what surfaced in our session. You’ve already seen how abandonment shaped you, how your mother’s unresolved pain landed on you, and how, as a child, you did what you had to do to survive.

Now, let’s explore the layers beneath that, so you can start releasing what was never truly yours.

Let whatever needs to flow come through. There are no wrong answers, only deeper layers of truth. You don’t have to carry this anymore, Lynn. You are here to reclaim yourself, fully and freely.

Acknowledging the Role You Took On

Take a few deep breaths, settle into your body, and reflect on these questions:

• When you think about your mother’s anger, bitterness, or grief, what emotions come up for you? How do they feel in your body?

• If your mother couldn’t express her pain to your father, how did she express it to you? How did that shape your sense of self?

• As a child, what did you believe you had to be for her?

• What were you afraid would happen if you didn’t take on that role?

• What did you hope you would receive in return for taking it on?

Seeing the Consequences

Now, look at how this has played out in your life:

• How has this role—being the one to carry others’ emotions—shown up in your relationships?

• In what ways have you continued to abandon yourself to meet others’ needs?

• Where do you still feel responsible for managing emotions that aren’t yours?

• What parts of yourself have you silenced, ignored, or suppressed in the process?

Releasing & Reclaiming

This wasn’t yours to carry, and yet, you carried it with love. You took it on because, as a child, you believed it was the only way to be loved. But now, you can choose differently.

• If you knew, deep in your bones, that love does not have to be earned through suffering, what would change?

• If you didn’t have to carry your mother’s pain anymore, what would you put down?

• What would you tell your younger self who was just trying to be loved?

• What do you want to reclaim for yourself now?

You are learning to balance action and rest, decluttering both energetically and physically, and feeling the shifts ripple through your life. Even at work, small moments—like an older gentleman gently connecting with you—serve as reminders of this energetic shift.

In this session, Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene, and Sarah formed a sacred triangle around you, while a golden Christ Consciousness light poured down, cocooning you in a protective pyramid. We worked on clearing and reconnecting your energy centers, releasing layers of protection around your heart and solar plexus, and allowing a golden honey-like energy to flow through you—melting away old patterns, softening resistance, and helping you step deeper into your true essence.

You are shedding old layers, reconnecting with your authentic self, and embracing the light that is emerging within you.

🔎 Excavation Ritual:

Meeting the Authentic Woman Within

Find a quiet space. Light a candle if you wish. Let this be a sacred container, safe, soft, and unhurried. You may want a journal or a voice recorder nearby.

Drop In – Create Inner Safety

Close your eyes and bring both hands to your body—one on your heart, one on your belly.

Breathe in slowly through your nose… and exhale softly through your mouth.

Let your nervous system know: It is safe to feel. It is safe to know. It is safe to be here.

Whisper inwardly or aloud:

“I am safe in my body. I am safe to explore. I am safe to remember who I truly am.”

Feel that safety ripple through you. Feel the ground beneath you holding you.

Sense the Guard Softening

Gently bring awareness to any places where the “guard” might still be holding on—maybe in your shoulders, jaw, chest, or belly.

Ask yourself:

Where do I feel like I’m still holding, protecting, bracing?

And then:

What would it feel like to let this part soften—even just 2%?

Feel the breath help loosen those places. You’re not forcing. You’re inviting. You’re letting the system know: it no longer has to carry this alone.

Call Her Forward – The Authentic Self

Now bring your attention inward—toward the part of you that is becoming. The one who is emerging now, as the layers of coping, control, and survival fall away.

Ask inwardly:

Where in my body do I feel her?

How does she move? What is her posture, her breath, her voice?

If she had a color or a texture, what would it be?

What is the yearning in her heart right now?

Let her answer. Let her show you—not from your mind, but from sensation, from intuition, from knowing.

Ask Her What She Needs

Place a hand over the part of your body where you feel her most alive.

Ask her:

“What do you need from me today?”

“What are you ready to let go of?”

“What truth are you here to live?”

Let her speak. Let her guide. Write down what you hear or feel. Trust the subtlety.

Grieve and Bless the Old Selves

If emotions arise—grief, anger, sadness—welcome them. You’re not broken. You’re releasing the roles that once kept you safe.

Whisper gently to those past selves:

“Thank you for protecting me. I see you. I honor you. And I choose to move forward now.”

Feel that mossy green love surrounding you, wrapping you in unconditional presence.

Anchor Her In

Stand up or sit tall. Imagine yourself stepping fully into this new version of you—this brave, true woman of depth and power.

Ask yourself:

What is one small action I can take today to honor her?

How would she walk, speak, choose, create?

Let her inhabit you.

Close the Ritual

Bring your hands back to your heart.

Say aloud:

“I am becoming more of who I truly am. And I trust the unfolding.”

Blow out the candle. If you wish, you can journal or draw what emerged.
